Channel Account Manager-Middle East (Dubai, Jeddah, Doha)

Userful is looking to expand our sales team to proactively grow sales for our revolutionary network connected video wall—an exciting product in the high-growth digital signage space. We are looking for energetic people who like working with people—over the phone or in person.

This is an excellent senior level sales opportunity for someone interested in a career in technology sales. Reporting to the VP of Sales, this position will include working with existing resellers and end customers, talking to inbound leads that have downloaded our resources or asked to be called, helping to develop lead generation campaigns, signing on new reseller partners and closing sales opportunities.

Responsibilities

Prospecting for new reseller partners and customer opportunities in the Middle East

  • Outbound calling, follow up on inbound inquiries, develop call lists, send follow-up emails and give web presentations/demos.
  • Help to develop and follow up on lead generation campaigns. Communicate value proposition to prospective customers and channel partners, in calls, emails and web presentations
  • Training channel partner's sales team and supporting them in selling Userful's products
  • Achieve targets for outbound call volumes and successful customer contacts
  • Log contacts, conversations and accounts in CRM system
  • Meet sales targets

Qualifications

  • Clear and convincing verbal and written communication in English
  • Desire to have a career in technology sales (2-5 years experience required)
  • Experience in AV markets sales
  • Interest and experience in technology, AV experience an asset
  • Ability to think on your feet quickly and move through tasks efficiently
  • High energy, organized, motivated self-starter
  • Effective team player, willing to take instructions and eager to learn
  • Post secondary degree

Compensation

Sales Engineer-Europe (UK, France, Netherlands)

Position Summary

The Role

As a Sales Engineer, you will work closely with internal partners (developers, support, sales and marketing) as well as customers and prospective customers, in a wide variety of capacities.

Responsibilities are but not limited to:
  • Serve as Userful's technical expert in the field, supporting indirect and direct sales engagement
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers
  • Propose solution architectures to customers that favor Userful products and solutions
  • Train customers on how to get started with our software and solutions
  • Generate and maintain a detailed customer list and records as well as proposals
  • Acts as the first line of support for partner organizations, resolving or escalating technical issues and delivers training.
  • Maintain sales records in CRM system
  • Collaborates with Sales to understand customer requirements and provide sales support answering technical customer questions and improving knowledge.
  • Engage with existing customers through service calls; proactively follow up to ensure follow-on revenue.
  • Upsell existing customers
  • Occasional travel to customer sites.
  • Manages new partner on-boarding and agreements.
  • Contributes to existing documentation and Knowledge Base articles
  • Support the sales team with reports and data for proposal generation

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • College diploma or degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
  • Not less than 3 years of experience in an SE role, IT role, Marketing Engineer, or Level 3 support technician role
  • Proficiency with Linux, LAN/WAN, networking
  • Experience with large enterprise corporate IT, ProAV integration, or control-rooms are pluses.

Digital Marketing Specialist (Calgary)

Position Summary

We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology, about digital marketing and about lead generation. Have you got experience or interest in AB testing, data analysis, SEO, marketing automation, demand generation, adwords and other PPC? Userful has a unique and compelling technology solution that is taking off with enterprise customers around the world and we have an opening for a new team member to support our online lead generation initiatives.

We are looking for someone who has worked in digital marketing in the past, but is looking for an opportunity to step up to a role with more responsibility and opportunity. We are looking for someone who is passionate, has a background of achievement and has a drive to learn.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support AB testing on our website and ensure it's converting visitors to leads at the highest possible rates
  • Work on landing pages, use AB testing and best practices to improve conversion.
  • Analyze visitor and search data to identify trends and opportunities
  • Work with our PPC expert who handles our adwords, facebook, instagram, bing, remarketing, campaigns etc.
  • Work on SEO related tasks on page and with back links
  • Support our Marketing automation platform and the email campaigns it runs
  • Project Management: You'll be expected to carry out projects, large and small, with little or no supervision

Required Skills and Experience:

Summary of Sales Role:

This is an excellent entry level sales opportunity for someone interested in a career in technology sales. Work under the direction of the VP of Sales and senior Account Managers to develop solution selling skills, with the objective of growing into independent Account Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting for new accounts and channel partners: outbound calling, follow up on inbound inquiries, develop call lists, send follow-up emails.
