Userful Joins Sharp's Strategic Technology Alliance Resource Program

October 15, 2015, Calgary, AB - Userful Corporation, an industry-leading centralized display software company, announced that they have joined the Sharp Strategic Technology Alliance Resource (STAR) program. Now users of Sharp products can implement the innovative Userful Network Video Wall software for any of their digital signage, public display and video wall needs.

Userful Network Video Wall is the first to deliver 4K UHD and larger content to a video wall over the network in real time. Userful eliminates the need of expensive specialized AV equipment by using a standard off the shelf PC. The solution enables customers to deploy both traditional and artistic “mosaic-style” video walls, as well as stand-alone digital signage. It supports just about any content including real time video streamed online or captured from an HDMI source, content from one of several pre-integrated third party Content Management Systems or can even display a desktop or full screen browser.

“Userful is excited about joining the Sharp STAR program. With Sharp’s impressive 55" Class full high-definition PN-V551 professional LED monitor, building a video wall has never been easier. It sports an exceptionally ultra-slim bezel that will complement virtually any commercial or public space. Combining this professional display with the Userful Network Video Wall, users can now deploy flexible, high-performance video walls, that also fit into their budgets,” says Tim Griffin, founder and CTO of Userful.

"Sharp is excited about the addition of Userful in the STAR program. Their software is easy to use, yet effective. We look forward to collaborating with them further," said Gary Bailer, Director of Product Management for Pro AV Products, Sharp Electronics Corporation.

The solution is perfect for capturing audience attention and is ideal for retail stores, exhibits, lobbies, stadiums, shopping centers, educational institutions and more. It also supports interactive uses such as control rooms, briefing centers, broadcast centers, and team dashboards.

A very flexible solution, the Userful Network Video Wall works great with the entire spectrum of Sharp’s innovative display products, providing a simpler way to implement stunning video walls and delivering ultra high-definition video content.
